Becoming a teacher can be an appealing option. Long vacations, days that finish early, teaching a subject that you love ... But it's much easier said than done. Unruly kids, homework to correct and migraine-inducing parents are just some of the many pitfalls. And then along comes a teacher who takes it all in their stride and learns to beat their pupils at their own game!
A lot of teachers are passionate about the subjects they teach and it's the reason why their pupils often do well in those subjects - learning becomes a pleasure rather than an ordeal.
