Here's a list of celebrities who've openly talked about their own creepy paranormal experience

1. Jessica Alba

When she was 17 years old Alba woke up feeling paralyzed and sensed a presence in her bedroom. She couldn't move or cry out. Suddenly something pulled on her sheets, at which point she managed to scream and run into her parents' room.

2. Miley Cyrus

Miley Cyrus told Elle magazine that when she lived in London, she once saw the ghost of a little boy sitting on the bathroom sink when she was taking a shower.

3. Keanu Reeves

During his interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Keanu said he saw a ghost when he was only 6 or 7 years old. He was in his parents' new apartment with his sister and babysitter when he saw a jacket float in front of a door before disappearing. He brushed it aside until he saw the babysitter's face and realized that they'd both experienced something paranormal.

4. Matthew McConaughey

McConhaughy lived in a house that was apparently haunted by a ghost who he nicknamed 'Madame Blue'. He said he was never scared and that she was a friendly ghost. One day he heard lots of weird noises that sounded like bangs and howls. He grabbed a bat and went to see what was going on, but found that apart from him and his dog, no one else was in the house!

5. Katy Perry

According to a friend, the singer had a spooky experience whilst shooting a perfume commercial. The location was supposedly haunted and at one point when Perry looked into a mirror she started to scream. Apparently she saw a scary strange man - a man that none of the crew managed to find!

Fascinated by the paranormal, the Pretty Little Liars actress claims to have had her own creepy experience... She was in her former home when the coffee machine switched on all by itself - no one was in the kitchen at the time!

Hudson told the Chatty Man Show that she can see ghosts - a talent that she inherited from her mom. She can sense energies and once saw the ghost of a faceless woman.

The How I Met your Mother star told the San Francisco Chronicle that she once lived with a friendly and polite ghost. However, once she got married and had her daughter, another spirit visited them, which terrified her family!

The Australian 5 Seconds of Summer star woke up in a London house and sensed a presence beside him. Hood claims he saw a man wearing what looked like a balaclava standing over him. He tried to throw his covers over the figure, but it disappeared.

When he was younger Nicolas Cage was sleeping over at his uncle, Francis Ford Coppola's house when suddenly his bedroom door opened and a long-haired woman appeared in the doorway. He thought it was his aunt, so wished her goodnight, but the woman didn't reply and began to approach the bed. Cage screamed and threw his pillow at her, at which point she disappeared.

Selena Gomez believes in ghosts and uses an iPhone app to track them! She even gave a skeptical Jimmy Fallon a demonstration and said that the app had already given her the names of some ghostly entities!
