Brad Elterman is a Californian professional photographer, who started his career at the tender age of 16 when his 1974 photo of Bob Dylan in concert was published.

This plunged him into the rock 'n' roll world, much to his surprise. Why? Because he wasn’t interested in photographing stars while they sweatily brandished their guitars on stage, but rather catching them backstage either before or after a performance. His snaps became legendary, as they showed stars behaving naturally rather than in their stage persona and magazines all over the world would rush to buy them.
