Don't be fooled by these 35 sneaky packaging cons
Customer confidence makes all the difference between a product that flies off the shelves and one that gets struck off the production line. Some brands have successfully managed to tap into consumer mentality, whilst others seem to think we're total idiots. They're happy to manipulate us in a variety of ways - 'dishonest' descriptions, dubious promotional offers... And then they wonder why we boycott their products and spend our money elsewhere! Some of the worst offenders relate to packaging; items that tempt the customer into spending their hard-earned money, only for us to discover that the product inside isn't quite what we've been led to expect.
